The University of Ghana graduate in a photo that has gone viral has revealed the result of his unconventional technique.
In the photo, Isaac Kwame Addae is seen standing near the road with a sign calling for jobs.
“Please, I need a job. Qualification-Bsc Marine Science. Institution-University of Ghana,” reads the inscription on the placard.
According to Master Addae, he received job offers from at least 50 organizations.
He said that despite the teasing on social media following the viral photo, the courage to show up paid off.
“It was very difficult at first. People kept laughing at me that I decided to move to another place. other people told me that I would find a job.
“I spent about an hour and thirty minutes in the sun. But now over 50 companies have offered to employ me,” he revealed in an interview on Accra-based GHOne TV.

The marine science graduate further noted that despite calls for applications, he is currently awaiting feedback.
He also noted that some callers have recommended aquaculture opportunities he is considering.
“I have qualifications in marine and fisheries so if it’s the aspect of fishing I will gladly take it. If I also get the marine operations department in port I will take it.
“I’m ready to take on other jobs, once that can put food on the table, I’ll be ready to adapt and learn,” he said.
A picture of Mr Addae went viral over the weekend after a photo of him holding a sign indicating his predicament went viral.
The viral photo showed him in black pants and shoes, as well as a light blue long-sleeved dress, with a black backpack.
“Please I need a job,” was boldly written on the sign. The poster also had his phone number and qualifications.
