Mumbai Crime Branch Unit 12 arrested a man who was cheating youths by promising jobs in companies like ONGC, RBI and other prestigious institutions.
Officers said they received a tip that the accused wanted in a cheating case at Dadar and Aarey Sub Police Station, staying at a guest house in Grant Road. They raided the guesthouse and arrested the accused, identified as Sandeep Raut (37).

During the investigation, it was learned that Raut had cases in various districts of Maharashtra where he charged several people to the tune of hundreds of thousands of rupees. Officers from the criminal section arrested the accused and handed him over to Dadar police, Chief Inspector Vilas Bhosle said.
