Meet a JU Student Ready to Join Facebook After Rejecting Amazon and Google

New Delhi: A student from Jadavpur University in Kolkata, West Bengal, has pocketed a whopping annual fee of Rs 1.8 crore on Facebook. Bisakh Mondal, the computer science and engineering student, had also received job offers from Google and Amazon before saying yes to joining Facebook. “I will join Facebook in September. Before accepting this job, I received offers from Google and Amazon. I thought choosing Facebook would be the best because the salary package offered by them was high,” Bisakh Mondal said. Bisakh Mondal will soon join the Facebook office in London.

Bisakh Mondal reveals details about cracking interview

Bisakh Mondal, who got the highest package this year, explained in detail how he passed the interview with the biggest companies including Amazon, Google and Facebook. “Over the past two years, during the COVID-19 pandemic, I had the opportunity to do internships in several organizations and gain knowledge outside of my studies. It helped me pass the interviews,” Bisakh Mondal said as quoted by Indian Express.

Bisakh Mondal’s mother, who works in an anganwadi, said her son was always “serious about his studies” and always got good marks in exams.

“It is a great pride for us. We struggled a lot to see him reach greater heights. He was always serious in his studies. After getting good marks in the senior secondary exams and the joint entrance exam, he was admitted to Jadavpur University,” Bisakh’s mother said.
