The family of a 20-year-old housekeeper who died last week after she was allegedly poisoned and physically strangled is demanding justice for her murder.
Cynthia Njanjala who worked as a housekeeper in Embakasi was allegedly abducted by her employer’s husband and his friends poisoned her, broke her spine and then left for the dead.
According to a report seen by Ghetto Radio, Nanjala complained that her employer’s husband made sexual advances to her just six days before work.
“Nanjala complained that the man of the house was interested in her, but she was not interested in returning his affection and feared it would jeopardize her work. May 13 was the last day she was seen hanging clothes in her employer’s apartment,” the report read.
According to the report, the deceased was training another daughter before she mysteriously disappeared to be found abandoned in Lungalunga.
She was then rushed to Kenyatta National Hospital by sympathizers where it was established that apart from the physical marks, she had also been poisoned.
“Supporters rushed her to hospital, where she was referred to KNH, where it was also reported that she had also been poisoned. She managed to convince someone to call her sister, to whom she allegedly confessed that her misfortunes were caused by her employer’s husband alongside his friends who abducted her and inflicted life-threatening injuries on her.
