New Delhi: the All India Radio (AIR) launched a weekly interactive program on Saturday for job seekers and students preparing for various competitions.
The first episode of the 30-minute show, ‘Abhyaas’, will air on 100.1FM GOLD at 9.30pm on Saturday, AIR’s news services division said in a statement.
The program was launched with the aim of reaching students and job seekers who are preparing for various competitions, he said.
“The first episode of Abhyaas for Competitive Examinations, which airs on 100.1 FM GOLD at 9:30 p.m. today, is about modern history,” he said.
Listeners can also access the program “on Twitter at @airnewsalerts or on the official airnews YouTube channel and NewsonAir app”.
The public broadcaster said the program will be in Hindi and will air every Saturday from 9:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
“The weekly interactive program will include segments such as Explanations, Factfile, Exam Schedule and Question of the Week with a musical break,” AIR said, adding, “A prominent academician will answer questions from listeners.”
“For the next episode on April 9, students can send their questions on WhatsApp number 928 909 4044 or by mail to [email protected] until April 5,” he said.
The topic chosen for next week is Indian politics and constitution, he added.
