Gurugram: A man has been arrested for allegedly slitting his employer’s throat and killing him after an argument. The accused revealed during the interrogation that he was provoked by the victim who abused him while he was intoxicated, as reported by the PTI news agency.
The deceased was identified as Satish Yadav (42), a farmer residing in Ward 10, Sohna, while the accused was identified as Pawan alias Chotu (22), from Kanpur.
The accused had been hired by the victim on his farm near the village of Jakhopur. The incident happened on Saturday night when Yadav was drinking alcohol on his farm and Pawan was serving him. Sometime after midnight, a fight broke out between them when Pawan, allegedly in a fit of rage, took a knife and killed Yadav by slitting his throat and fled, PTI reported.

Police sources said the victim’s body was found lying in a pool of blood by his family members on Sunday morning. They called the police who then took the body into custody and handed it over to relatives after the autopsy.
Based on a complaint by Sandeep Yadav, brother of the deceased, an FIR was registered against the servant under Section 302 (murder) of the ICC at Sohna Sadar Police Station. “The accused has been arrested who revealed that he killed Yadav because he abused him. We are questioning him and will present him soon in a municipal court,” said Inspector Jai Singh, SHO of the police station by Sohna Sadar, PTI reported.
